Booking Coordinator

Sorrisniva AS is a year-round experience company located on the banks of the Alta River, just outside Alta town center. The company is built on local traditions and values.

Our Arctic Wilderness Lodge is open year-round, and we operate an ice hotel during the winter months. We offer a wide variety of experiences throughout the year. The Lodge has 24 suites, and the Ice Hotel features 27 rooms. We have two restaurants, a bar, a lounge, and meeting rooms.

Sorrisniva is currently seeking a Booking Coordinator.

As a Booking Coordinator, you will work in a team within the same department and collaborate with other departments. You will handle a variety of inquiries. In this role, it is essential to provide excellent customer service and be proactive in identifying upselling opportunities. You will respond to guest inquiries via phone and email. We are looking for someone who is flexible and has strong interpersonal skills. You will quickly become part of a large and positive work environment with many new colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries via phone and email

• Learn our price lists and understand the experiences and services we offer at Sorrisniva

• Manage bookings in our booking system and with our partners

• Identify opportunities for guest follow-up

• Drive additional sales

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of invoices for customers and partners

• Support the front desk or other departments during peak times

Qualifications:

• Relevant industry experience or education is preferred but not required

• Education in tourism is desirable but not a requirement

• Good IT skills, preferably with booking/reservation systems

• Strong language skills – fluency in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken) is required
