Sorrisniva AS is a year-round adventure company located on the banks of the Alta River, just outside the center of Alta. The company is built on local traditions and values. Our Arctic Wilderness Lodge is open all year round and we also have an ice hotel in the winter months. We offer many and varied experiences throughout the year. In the Lodge we have 24 suites and the ice hotel has 27 rooms. We have two restaurants, bar, lounge and meeting room.
Sorrisniva is looking for a booking employee. The position is primarily during our high season, which is from the beginning of September to the end of March. There may be the possibility of an extension. In the position of booking employee, you will work in a team, in the same department and in collaboration with other departments. There will be varied inquiries you will have to answer. In the role, it is important to provide good service and be able to think about additional sales. You will receive inquiries from guests by phone and email.
We are looking for a person who is flexible and has good collaboration skills. In a short time you will have many new colleagues and a large and good working environment.
Work tasks:
Answer and follow up inquiries from customers by telephone and e-mail
Familiarize yourself with price lists and an overview of experiences and what we offer in Sorrisniva
Carry out bookings in our booking system and with our partners
See possibilities for follow-up with guests
Secure additional sales
Be able to quality-assure invoices to customers and partners
Possibility to assist at reception or otherwise at the hotel during busy "peaks"
Qualifications:·
Relevant industry experience
Desirable education in tourism, but not a requirement
Good IT knowledge and preferably within booking/reservation
Vocational certificate in reception or tourism is desirable, but not a requirement
Good language skills. Norwegian and English spoken and written is a minimum
