The Norwegian spring is probably the hardest season to define. Some years it comes early, other years late, sometimes it’s hot, and sometimes it’s chilly well into what’s supposed to be the summer months. One thing that is sure though, is the return of the sun. Enjoy the Arctic spring awakening with the transition from the long dark winter to the endless summer. At this time of the year, the flowers bloom, and so do the Norwegians. Nature is virtually exploding all around – trees and flowers are waking to life, the melting snow in the mountains swells the waterfalls, rivers, and lakes, and the sun wakes up from its winter sleep.
