Sorrisniva AS is a year-round adventure company located on the banks of the Alta River, just outside the center of Alta. The company is built on local traditions and values. Our Arctic Wilderness Lodge is open all year round with 24 suites and Maku restaurant. In winter, we also have an ice hotel and an a la carte restaurant. Sorrisniva offers many exciting activities throughout the year. In addition to the restaurant in the evening, we serve breakfast and lunch, we hold parties and have meeting activities.
Sorrisniva AS is currently seeking full-time receptionists for the winter season.
In the position of receptionist, good service and the role of host for our guests is important. Your primary task is therefore to take care of the guests when they are with us and ensure that they have a memorable stay. We offer experiences throughout the year and have high standards for everything we deliver.
The tasks are exciting, many and varied and we are therefore looking for a person who is flexible, outgoing and has good collaboration skills.
Work tasks:
- From the reception host our guests
- Be updated on what is happening at all times in order to be able to assist our guests in the best possible way
- Answer and follow up inquiries from guests directly, by phone and e-mail
- Ensure that common areas are presentable and help at cross-departments if necessary
- Quality assurance that the guests have a good stay
- Various and exciting tasks that belong in a high-quality hotel that has both accommodation, restaurants and experiences
- Good communication with the other departments
Qualifications:
- Genuine desire to create good guest experiences
- Preferably at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Good IT - knowledge, preferably in the field of booking/reservation
- Diploma in reception or tourism is desirable, but not a requirement
- Good language skills. English, spoken and written are a minimum
