Igloo Hotel

The ice chapel in the Igloo Hotel is a distinctly different and beautiful alternative to celebrate your wedding. From the end of January until the end of march offer we a unique location to celebrate your special day. The ice chapel is consecrated by the bishop of Nord-Hålogaland, and the local parish conducts the ceremony and service here. The ice chapel is a beautiful and intimate room with a special acoustics and like the rest of the hotel it is decorated with exquisite and decorative ice-sculptures.

The restaurant Laksestua is located inside the service building just beside the ice hotel and it provides a pleasant setting for your wedding party. If you wish for a more intimate atmosphere you can use the smaller restaurant Gabo.  The finishing touch to your special day is of course the wedding night inside the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel... The happy couple will of course spend their night in the bridal suite. In the morning the sauna is already heated and the breakfast buffet awaits you in our restaurant.

We recommend a snowmobilesafari as the perfect end to your stay here. The snowmobiles are parked right outside the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel and the trip starts here. Warm clothes like a snowmobile suit, boots, woollen socks, hat/helmet and gloves are of course included in the price for the trip
